The gap
Windows voice typing does not list Urdu at all. Most polished dictation apps are Mac only, cloud only, or both. The usual workaround is dictating into a phone and emailing yourself the text, or typing Roman Urdu and hoping the reader converts it in their head.
HushQuill treats Urdu as a first-class language. Speak, and the text lands in native script: proper ے, proper ں, the right punctuation marks, flowing right to left in whatever app you are typing into. Hindi gets the same treatment in Devanagari, and about 99 languages ride along.
Because recognition runs on your own machine, this works offline and nothing you say leaves the room. That matters in Urdu exactly as much as in English: letters to family, legal work, medical notes, journalism.

Straight answer
We do not claim to beat every speech engine on raw Urdu accuracy. What we claim is narrower and, for most people, more useful: it is private, it is on Windows as well as Mac, it renders the script properly, and it survives the Urdu-English mixing that real speech is full of. If a cloud engine's accuracy matters more to you than where your audio goes, that trade is yours to make, and HushQuill even lets you opt into one with your own API key.
