The part nobody mentions
Win+H costs no money because you are on Microsoft's infrastructure. Their documentation says it plainly: voice typing uses online speech recognition powered by Azure Speech services, and you need to be connected to the internet to use it. Every sentence you dictate makes the round trip.
For a shopping list, that is nothing. For a legal memo, a patient note, an unreleased spec, or anything under NDA, the question is whether dictation audio should leave the building at all. HushQuill's answer is that it never does. Whisper and Parakeet run on your own CPU. There is no connection to need and no server to trust.
The second gap is language. Windows voice typing does not list Urdu at all, and its voice commands work in US English only. HushQuill dictates about 99 languages free and uncapped, and Urdu comes out in real Urdu script with the right punctuation, not Roman approximations.
